Philip Visali

CEO

Phil started his insurance career in 1997 with Bankers Life & Casualty as a field underwriter while attending the University of Florida. In 1999, he opened his first insurance agency in Sarasota with Allstate Insurance, where he received many honors and awards for his service. In 2006, Phil formed We Insure Florida. Phil holds his Property and Casualty General Lines license. He enjoys spending time with his son, Michael. Lucas Waring

Vice President

Lucas graduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in Finance in 1993. After graduating, he was employed by a large privately owned company as a district supervisor where he oversaw operations for his territory. Soon after, he then successfully developed and opened his own business in the hospitality sector. In 2003, he began his insurance career as a commercial lines producer for an independent insurance agency. In 2008, Lucas started his own independent insurance agency, where he specialized in commercial insurance for medium to large size businesses. He has served on numerous boards including a bank board, chamber of commerce board, privately owned school board, church board, and tourist development council board. He continues to actively support his community with service and financial support. Lucas enjoys working with We Insure Florida and especially enjoys helping agents to become their own boss. Salena Simpson

Director of Operations/Accounting

Salena is the Director of Operations/Accounting and serves as an executive member to the "WE" Team. Salena was born in Erie, PA and has lived in Jacksonville, FL since 1982 and is an active member of her community.

She attended Florida State College and has worked in the accounting industry since 1996. From 1996 to now, she has studied and become a connoisseur in the technology and infrastructure of Applied Systems Software. Her concentration is the Accounting/Finance side of the insurance industry, while developing and overseeing departmental workflows. She posses a large amplitude of accounting, and Insurance knowledge that ministers support and leadership to the "WE" team. This same leadership in management has shown within her history of working for midsize/ large independent and franchised insurance agencies. In her spare time, the "mom" title kicks in. She has two sons age 15 & 9. Most favorable moments, family beach days, camping, 4-wheeling, boating, and cookouts with family and friends.

She is also a member of the National Women′s Association, and currently serves as one of the Board of Director for the North Florida Users Group of Applied Systems (NFUGAS) for the past two and half years.

Melissa Sams

Agency & Carrier Relations Manager

Melissa began her career in the insurance industry when she joined We Insure Florida in 2010. She serves on the North East Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) Sales and Marketing (SMC) Board of Directors as their Chairman for the Charity Committee- dedicated to supporting the children of Daniel. Jub Dakuginow

Personal Lines Manager – Sunbeam Branch

Jub is one of the original members of the We Insure Florida team. He is the Corporate Sales Office Manager- Personal Lines. Jub began his career in the insurance industry in 2006, when he became a licensed agent. Before coming to Florida, Jub was born and raised in Philadelphia. Deb Harris

Commercial Lines Manager

Deb joined forces with We Insure Florida in 2011. She began her insurance career in 2003 when she became a licensed agent. She specializes in writing insurance for churches, condominiums and homeowners associations. Deb spent most of her life in Newport, Rhode Island, where she met her husband, Richard on the golf course. When she is not busy writing insurance, she can usually be found outside, enjoying the Florida sunshine! She also enjoys being Chairman of the Board at her church, spending time with her pug named Buddy, and writing insurance on large buildings and hard to place risks.
